Financial awards provide assistance for training, professional development, and other early literacy efforts
LitCon PD Awards
The Foundation for Struggling Readers of RRCNA is pleased to announce the availability of professional development awards for LitCon 2021 attendance. The value of each award is up to $500.
Eligibility: This award is available exclusively to current RRCNA members, including teachers, teacher leaders, university trainers, or district-level administrators who support the implementation of Reading Recovery. This year’s application has closed. Check the LitCon website and social media pages for additional opportunities to attend for free.

2020-21 Teacher Leader Training Award Recipients
Teacher Leader Training Awards provide financial support for the initial training of Reading Recovery teacher leaders, which consists of a full time, one-year postgraduate course at a Reading Recovery University Training Center. Congratulations to this year’s award recipients.

Geri Stone Memorial Fund Awards
The Geri Stone Memorial Fund was established by family members and friends in memory of Geri Stone’s leadership and work as a Michigan Reading Recovery teacher leader. Funds are awarded to Reading Recovery professionals to help offset the cost of training, professional development, school supplies and projects, and other literacy efforts. Congratulations to this year’s award winners: Kristina Krohn, Lindsey Edens, & Sally Coughlin.
