Project Description

Joshua Rosser was a Reading Recovery student at CSD/Wales Primary (New York) in 2002. After completing lessons, he went on to be a well-rounded and successful student. Throughout high school, Joshua belonged to academic clubs and was a scholar athlete. He played varsity sports including volleyball, swimming, and track. Joshua achieved the ultimate high school goal as Class of 2014 valedictorian at Iroquois Central High School. He was awarded the Baush and Lomb Merit Scholarship for the University of Rochester, where he is majoring in physics and astronomy.

Joshua’s parents feel that Reading Recovery was an intricate part of his success. Thanks to early intervention and a very dedicated teacher, Mrs. Carol Schuster, Joshua was able to overcome reading challenges.
