The Walton Charter Academy, one of several schools throughout Michigan affiliated with Oakland University’s Reading Recovery Center, recently participated in the 2017 Reading Recovery Council of North America (RRCNA) “Reading Recovery Read Aloud” event.

“The children were so excited to read to the local heroes and the heroes were very impressed by the reading and how much the students have progressed since the beginning of the year,” said Mary K.
