You’ll have the chance to dive into the latest strategies, research, and best practices for supporting all students in becoming strong, confident readers.
“LitCon is a high energy, high learning experience. The presenters are amazing and knowledgeable. So much useful content was packed into a short time! I can immediately apply things I learned there to my current and future teaching.”
.
What’s on the Agenda? In addition to engaging workshops, LitCon features three inspiring keynote speakers:
- Catherine Compton-Lilly will explore equitable literacy instruction in diverse classrooms.
- David Bouchard will inspire attendees to rediscover the love of reading—and pass it on to their students.
- Tim Rasinski will discuss how effective reading instruction blends the science and art of teaching.
“This was my first experience at LitCon and I was so impressed with the sessions and speakers. I attended all four days and loved every minute of it. Each day offered many opportunities to enhance my learning. The topics were relevant to what educators are experiencing across the country and inspired me to return to my school and share what I heard and learned.”
