Answers to common questions about membership


How much does it cost to join RRCNA?


I'm not a Reading Recovery teacher. Am I eligible to join RRCNA?


Yes! RRCNA membership is open to anyone with an interest in early literacy teaching and learning. Many of RRCNA's members are classroom teachers, Title I teachers, literacy and reading specialists, special education teachers, intervention specialists, administrators, and many other education professionals and volunteers.

What forms of payment does RRCNA accept?


RRCNA accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express and personal checks or money orders written in U.S. funds.

What are the benefits of membership?


How can I obtain a membership application?


You may join online or you may download the membership application in PDF format. You may also phone in your membership at 614- 310-READ (7323).

Can I share members only resources with non-members?


Individual members of RRCNA are provided online access to journals and other publications. Access is controlled by means of logging in with a unique username and password. This login is provided to the RRCNA member only. Individual logins should be kept confidential and not be shared, nor should any materials downloaded from the Members Only Resource Center by an RRCNA member be distributed or reproduced without permission.

Should I provide my school or home address?


Please provide the address to which you would like your journal and other correspondence mailed. We suggest that you provide your home address so you continue to receive mailings during the summer or in the event you move to a new school.

How do I remove my name or email from your mailing or email list?


You may opt out of third-party mailing lists by checking the opt-out option in your online User Account or the renewal form (on the back of the renewal slip). RRCNA respects your privacy, and you may review our privacy policy.

How do I update my contact information?


The easiest way is to log in and make changes in your User Account.  You may also contact the membership staff at 614-310-READ (7323), or membership@readingrecovery.org

Once I join or renew, when will I receive my new member packet, membership card, receipt, and journal?


New member packets and renewal receipts are mailed within 10 days of receipt. The most-recent journal is included in new member packets. If you have recently renewed your membership you will receive the next published journal.  Receipts are emailed immediately after the membership/renewal is processed.


What is my member ID number?


If you have renewed your membership, your ID number remains the same.  You can find your ID number in your User Account profile.

Why can't I access the Members Only site or the online Book List?


These pages are only available to current members. Check your User Account profile to ensure that your membership has not expired.  If so, once you renew, you will immediately regain access to the members-only resources.
