Selection Guidelines
The North American Trainers Group has adopted the guidesheet, “Rationales and Guidelines for Selecting the Lowest-Achieving First-Grade Students for Reading Recovery.” The directions in this guidesheet replace those for Selection of Children in Section 2 of the Standards and Guidelines for Reading Recovery in the United States (6th ed.) that will be updated to reflect these practices. The new guidesheet is ready for immediate use to select students for Reading Recovery in the U.S.
