Comments from 2012 Conference Attendees:

-        There is so much to take from this institute.  The deep theoretical understandings as well as the practical insights!

-        Lots of "internal coherence" across the general sessions and my selected sessions.  I particularly enjoyed the sessions I went to; they really stood out in quality of content and design, and the presenters' knowledge and expertise.

-        This was a great Institute! Very well planned and each day built on the last.

-        The presenters are excellent at presenting information that I can use right away.  Thank you.

-        I've just been reviewing my notes on what I will do this fall to help my schools bring about a change in the culture as they work in learning communities.

-        My workshops were extremely practical - I walked away with about 10 different concrete things I can use to improve my work with my teachers and their work with their children and in their buildings.

-        I experienced the opportunity to increase my knowledge base on the alignment of Reading Recovery and the Common Core State Standards.

-        Leadership is so critical is sustaining implementation of any model with fidelity.  Conditions must be set for an atmosphere of inquiry.

-        The general sessions reinforced my thinking about school change.  We must change the culture and structure of schools in order to shift instruction!
